Oralite (formerly Reflexite) V82 Conspicuity Material is a Type V microprismatic retroreflective sheeting. This is the brightest tape in the Reflexite line.  It is very similar to our SOLAS tape but in colors. We carry the V82 prismatic tapes in WHITE , STANDARD YELLOW , SCHOOL BUS YELLOW , BLUE , GREEN , ORANGE , and RED rolls.The sheeting is designed for rugged outdoor use on the sides and rear of trucks, trailers, school buses, farm equipment, automobiles and all types of mobile and industrial equipment. The sheeting is composed of cube corner (microprism) retroreflective elements integrally bonded to a flexible, smooth-surfaced, tough and weather-resistant UV stabilized polymeric film. The prism surfaces are coated with a vacuum deposit of aluminum to provide a mirror surface to the prism facets. The resulting tape is not more than 0.006 inch thick and comes with an aggressive high-tack pressure sensitive adhesive. This is the highest quality prismatic tape available. 

Reflexite invented prismatic reflective tapes and makes them in a single layer thus eliminating problems that arise from delamination.  Reflexite tapes DO NOT come apart like other brands.

Because the tape is a “Type 5 Tape” it can be used for MUTCD regulated sign sheeting applications. It is the brightest and longest lasting class of tape in the Oralite (Reflexite) line. Oralite V82 tape is about 10 times brighter than standard engineer grade tape and three times as bright as high intensity reflective. Light is reflected via micro prisms making the tape much brighter than glass bead type tapes. This allows the tape to be seen from much farther away. Thousands of feet versus hundreds. Oralite V82 tapes carry a 10 year outdoor rating. This tape is easy to handle and resists chipping and cracking.

On this page we carry the V82 films in 1", 2", 3", 4" and 6" widths in 150 foot rolls. V82 prismatic reflective tape can be used to mark emergency vehicles, fire trucks, ambulances, helmets, loading dock areas, bollards, poles, dumpsters, gates, barricades, tractor trailers, and more. It is a step above our V92 line of prismatic tapes. It is similar in thickness and feel but does not have triangle pattern lines. It is much like a colored equivalent of our Reflexite SOLAS tape.

This tape has a very aggressive adhesive. To install simply peel the backing off the tape and apply to a clean surface.
